I’ve been feeling warmer, moodier layers lately li I’ve been feeling warmer, moodier layers lately like this cozy side table setup. Darker wood tones, dried stems, and amber glass that catches that golden hour light. Nothing over the top, just quietly curated.

No. 06 Two moments: one for quiet coffee, one for No. 06

Two moments: one for quiet coffee, one for gathering. A kitchen that adapts depending on how it’s being used and made for large get togethers.

Would you love a kitchen with two nooks? (See previous post for the smaller of the two)

I’ll be sharing the full reveal soon, as this direction is carried into our clients' own custom kitchen.
No. 05. So much to love about this little spot. No. 05.

So much to love about this little spot. Not a breakfast nook. Not a dining space. Just a place to sit with your morning coffee, a book, or a slow start.☕

No. 04 Exploring how contrast works vertically: d No. 04

Exploring how contrast works vertically: darker base cabinetry grounding the space, lighter uppers keeping it open. Reversing that relationship shifts the entire visual weight of the room, so seeing both variations helps clarify what feels stable.

No. 03 Love a palette leans quiet: warm ivory ca No. 03

Love a palette leans quiet: warm ivory cabinetry, rich espresso wood cabinetry int he mudroom, and aged metals that soften the contrast. Artwork hung above a decorative hood becomes a focal point rather than a utilitarian feature, allowing the cabinetry and surrounding walls to feel cohesive and continuous.

No. 02 One of the most important features in this No. 02

One of the most important features in this kitchen study isn’t the island or cabinetry, but the shelving.

For this project, we wanted shelving that displays decorative objects, bringing in that collected feel.

The goal was restraint: shelves that feel collected over time rather than styled for a photo. Still a concept in development, but this is usually the point where the direction becomes clear and the materials begin to speak to each other without effort.
